| Sri Lanka A-Team v Bangladesh A |
The Sri Lanka A is the feeder team to the National side. The team undertakes regular tours thereby the players gaining experience in facing international competition.
During 2006, the team made tours to Bangladesh (March/April), Abu Dhabi (April/May for the Eur-Asia Limited Overs Tournament), India (October/November - Duleep Trophy) and West Indies (November/December).
In 2007, the team toured England (July/August) and Zimbabwe (October). In March Bangladesh A toured Sri Lanka.
Anura Tennekoon is Manager of the A team with Chandika Hathurusinghe as Coach. Ranjith Nanayakkarawasam is the Physiotherapist
