Profile
A left-hand opening bat, Umar Amin scored a hundred in the first Youth Test against England Under-19s during Pakistan Under-19's tour in 2007, and later made a memorable first-class debut, scoring 89 and 56 for Rawalpindi against Pakistan International Airlines. He followed it with another hundred in the Youth Test against Bangladesh U-19s at home, but had a torrid time against them in the one-dayers - with 42 runs from five matches. However, he was back in the runs in 2008, only getting out twice while scoring 207 in five matches of the triangular tournament in Sri Lanka, involving the hosts and England U-19s.
