Profile
Neil Edwards is a former England Under-19 batsman who marked his promise by scoring 160 for Somerset against Hampshire in 2003, winning an award for the best performance by an Uncapped Player 2003 in the process. He failed to kick on in 2005, a missed opportunity as Somerset put their faith in their young batsmen, but fared respectably in the Championship in 2006. He headed to Australia for the 2007-08 winter, to play for Richmond CC in Melbourne, alongside Cameron White. Sam Collins September 2007
